Media & Public Awareness Campaigns
Awareness grows when important conversations reach the public. Through strategic media engagement, CPSM-KL amplifies child protection messages and advocates for safer environments for children nationwide.

Vice Chairman Pn. Nawiza Ariff was interviewed by The Star for its feature on Forgotten Baby Syndrome, where she discussed the role of awareness, family support systems, and preventive measures in reducing risks and protecting children from harm.
Media plays a vital role in shaping public understanding of child protection issues. Throughout the year, CPSM-KL actively collaborates with media organisations to raise awareness, address emerging concerns, and promote informed discussions on children's rights and wellbeing.
Through interviews, television appearances, expert panels, feature segments, podcasts, and public discussions, CPSM-KL provides trusted perspectives on issues such as child abuse prevention, online safety, personal boundaries, youth wellbeing, and community safeguarding.
Partnerships with media organisations, including Astro AWANI and Astro Prima, have enabled CPSM-KL to reach broader audiences and respond to current child protection concerns in a timely and meaningful manner. These engagements help strengthen public understanding while encouraging parents, educators, policymakers, and communities to play an active role in protecting children.
By combining advocacy with public education, CPSM-KL continues to build awareness, encourage dialogue, and reinforce the importance of collective action in creating safer communities for children throughout Malaysia.
