History was made for Malaysian gymnastics as Ng Chun Chen bagged the gold medal of the Vault event at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup Varna, Bulgaria in May 2026 — a prestigious achievement that lifted Malaysia's name on the world gymnastics stage.

When Ng Chun Chen arrived at CPSM at just six years old, he was a young child with untapped potential and a future yet to be written. For the next four years, he grew up in a safe and nurturing environment where he received the care, guidance, and encouragement every child deserves.

Even at a young age, Chun Chen displayed exceptional discipline, determination, and talent. His dedication soon opened an extraordinary opportunity. At just ten years old, he earned a place at the prestigious Bukit Jalil Sports School, where he began pursuing his dream of becoming a gymnast.

What followed was years of relentless training, perseverance, and commitment. Through countless hours of practice and unwavering focus, Chun Chen steadily rose through the ranks of competitive gymnastics, achieving performances at world-class standards and setting remarkable records along the way.

Today, at 24 years old, Chun Chen continues to excel both on and off the gymnastics floor.
